Take-home
bleaching solutions are products containing
peroxide(s), which actually bleach the tooth
enamel. These products typically rely on a
percentage (10%, 16%, 22%) of carbamide peroxide
as the bleaching agent. Our whiteners come
in a gel and are placed in a mouth guard that
we custom make for you. We will tailor a usage
regimen based on the goals that are set in
your treatment plan.

In
office bleaching is offered in the office
of Dr. Michael T. Jones & Associates and
initially takes about one hour. During chair
side bleaching a protective gel is applied
to your gums along with a rubber shield to
protect the oral soft tissues. A bleaching
agent is then applied to the teeth, and a
special arch light will be used to enhance
the action of the agent. Using our unique
whitening system no heat is generated which
could cause damage to healthy tooth structures.
A one hour appoint is guaranteed to whiten
